The benefits of coaching

A coach provides support and guidance to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity a person already has.

A long-term friend and client of mine, Kerry Edgecombe, recently started a coaching and consulting business (Kerry Edgecombe Coaching and Consulting). When Kerry told me about her new business I got excited about the opportunity to learn more about myself as a person and as a Manager and leader.

Kerry is an accredited trainer in the Human Synergistics LSI 1 and 2 tools, which assess your self-view and the views of others in relation to how you operate in the workplace and then helps you build on your strengths. She also does Solutions Focused coaching, which is goal based and fast tracks achievement of your goals and aspirations. I booked in to do the LSI 1 and 2 (undertaking a questionnaire and three debriefing sessions).

To tell the truth, I was surprised at the benefits. The coaching has helped me learn more about myself and how I can operate more effectively. It’s also helped me better understand my strengths, how to optimise these, as well as how to reduce stress for myself and my team. The result is a healthier, happier more constructive/productive me which is having positive flow on effects for my team.

I highly recommend this service. She is offering preferential pricing for new clients who take up her services promoted in Capitalwise newsletter prior to June 30 this year. Quote CAPITALWISE 2023 when you get in touch. Kerry ‘s contact details are kerry@kecoachingconsulting.net or 0481 689 566.
